In Mar 2009, I bought an iPhone 3G from Maxis. About 6 months later the phone was found to be faulty with the microphone not working properly. It was then returned to Maxis for replacement. I received the replacement phone about 1 month later.

The replacement was again faulty as it was not able to detect wi-fi. On 24th Dec 2009, the phone was passed on to the Maxis Centre at the Gardens Mid Valley for a further exchange. After numerous emails & phone calls, I was finally able to collect the phone on 30th Jan 2010. However, upon my visit to collect the iPhone, the phone was again found to be faulty as the screen was flickering.
Since then, I have sent an email on 30th Jan 2010, place a call to Maxis on 3rd Feb 2010 and sent another email on 5th Feb 2010 but to-date I have not received any response from Maxis.

Since buying the iPhone in Mar 2009, I have to-date not in possession of my iPhone for about 75 days. I have not had my iPhone over the Hari Raya, Christmas and New Year period and it looks increasing likely I will not have it over the Chinese New Year period also.

Please help me get my iPhone back. I have argued with Maxis that if a 3G is not available, they should replace it with a 3Gs model and I have even mentioned that I would be willing to pay for the difference if any, but to no avail. I have also argued that the 3G model is probably not in production and as such any replacement I receive would most likely be an old set or a repaired unit from somewhere else.
