On 4/12/2009 went to Selayang Maxis Centre and make a payment via Credit card for a Maxis Broadband Modem & services. Transaction went through smoothly and official receipt was issued on 4/12/2009 at 15:53:54 with a serial number AB04E069041209-00062. It was agreed that upon 24 hours later, activation of the modem can be done. On 5/12/2009 activation of the modem cannot be access as it stated as 'not registered'.
A complained was lodge on 5/12/2009 at the above telephone number 1800822000 at 10:00pm. Verification of telephone and account number was done and found out that the Broadband services was not registered at all. Customer care centre request me to call again on 7/12/2009 (during office hours) and again informed that the services was not registered. Therefore, I hereby lodge a complaint against Maxis Broadband Services.
Status : Matter has been immediately brought to the attention of Service Providers and SKMM.
NCCC Advice : Once payment has been done, if possible get the details of the person in charge/gave the promise to contact directly, if impossible then complaint to us as soon as possible to resolve the matter.
